Welcome to the St. Stephen web site - we invite you to look around and get a feel for our Catholic university chapel and campus center. If you've never been to Mass at St. Stephen - we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our Sunday Masses. And of course, feel free to reach out and call Father Adams, our Pastor or Sister Karen Ann, our Campus Minister. | St. Stephen Catholic Chapel is a Mission Chapel of St. Paul's Cathedral Parish http://www.stpaulsbhm.org.
We serve as the Catholic Campus Ministry Center for Birmingham. We
provide a unique and inviting worship space with a liturgy that fosters
community and a campus center for students, faculty and staff to
meet, relax and reflect. We seek to develop leaders knowledgeable in
our faith tradition and to clarify our role as Catholic Christians in
contemporary society. Our mission focus is to serve those involved in
higher education. Our ministry emphasis is on evangelization through
adult faith formation, sacramental ministry and engaging the needy in
our surrounding neighborhood. |
